There is always something leftover, when cutting a square/rectangle from a circle. It is the same with our wood processing. Whilst all attempts are made to maximise the recovery from a round log, there are some bits left over that can be used for products such as firewood, woodchip and sawdust.

Our chipper infeed system needed an upgrade and after some design challenges for our engineers, the plan was finally approved. The new chipper infeed was constructed, delivered and installed in record time. A big thankyou to the team at AE Gibson & Sons Pty Ltd and our Maintenance Manager and team!
